ABOUT US

East Surrey Hawks was founded in 2019 to offer inclusive football for people in the East Surrey area with disabilities, health conditions and complex needs.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

All our teams are fully inclusive and open to all regardless of background, gender, ability, health condition or disability status. We believe that being part of a team gives people the chance to keep fit, develop their coordination and physical abilities, build confidence and team work skills and make new friends.

We believe that football belongs to everyone, and that every player, parent/carer, spectator, coach and game official deserves the opportunity to participate in a safe, supportive and happy environment free from bullying or intimidation.

We subscribe fully to the FA’s Respect code of conduct & Football for all campaign. Our aim is to provide a high quality, high structure and fun football experience for all our players. We provide weekly training sessions throughout the season, monthly tournaments where the children compete against other inclusive teams and pre and post season competitions. Our FA qualified coaches and welfare officers provide an environment where children can develop their skills to their fullest potential in a safe environment. Training sessions are tailored according to the needs of our children.

Behind the scenes the committee have been busy and we are pleased to announce we have been awarded the FA Charter Standard. This means as a club we have been recognised as an excellent place to play football. We have demonstrated a positive football environment where children can develop their skills, keep fit and enjoy playing as part of a friendly, inclusive community.
